Classes

Timetable is up on the university website. I went to see if the timetable I had planned out would work, and it turns out the english class, classical mythology, isn't being offered in the coming year. I'm pretty sad. Now I have to pick out another english class to take instead. I also think the cell biology class I had planned on taking has a tutorial at the same time as my other class. DO NOT WANT!! I really hope I don't end up taking some kind of dumb classes I don't like just because nothing else works. Stupid schedules.
Grr.

And once again it's way too late

I have a bad habit of staying up far too late doing dumb things. Now I've just been creeping into other peoples lives. I seem to do that. Maybe I wish I could constantly live vicariously through others, but I think I just like to understand how everyone else works. I have myself pretty well figured out. I'm sure I could write a 10 page report detailing my entire personality. When you know that much about yourself, its always nice to get out of your own head and into someone else's. I really need to start recording all the things I think up, because my brain is always going and going and I forget so easily. If I wrote it all down maybe other people can understand me as well as I understand myself. Or maybe no one is supposed to really. I don't really remember where I was going with this, but oh well.
Time to talk about my favorite song of all time, while I'm talking about my mind.
You Can Sleep While I Dream - Bon Jovi
This is my song, seriously. Anyone who knows me understands that I mainly live in my own little world. This is a song about dreamers, who are only limited by their own imaginations. I love music that I can really feel, and no one does that better than Jon in my books. So amazing. K thats it.

thinking I'll get back into this...

Well. It has certainly been a busy 2010 so far.
I finished my first year of university. While I wasn't too pleased with my chemistry mark, I had so much fun. I really enjoy how free university is. Still not very good at making friends, but I've never needed that many to begin with. I'm so thankful I had Rachel in so many of my classes or I would probably not have talked to anyone...
Our family life hit an ultimate low this April with the passing of my grandma. It's been really hard on my mom, but we've always been a close little family and we're pulling through alright.
Me and my momma have been going places together this year a lot, and we've made lots of great memories. First was our trip to Ottawa in february, then we went to Minneapolis to see BON JOVI!!!! Which was absolutely amazing. I managed to out last her in the Mall of America. In June we are going to see the Eagles together because she won some tickets and I demanded that I get to go. Then we are going to see Bon Jovi again, cuz we're groupies.
Now that it's summer and I haven't started working yet, my life is basically just sitting around doing nothing. Me, Mike, Sam and Greg started up a poker night every saturday, which is a nice twist on our usual sitting around playing videogames thing. I love cards.
I started reading the Children of Hurin, realizing that I hadn't read any Tolkien in a while and I really really missed it. So far its exceeded my expectations for it being a bit of a dumbed down version of the Silmarillion.
Thats pretty much all thats up in my life at the moment, but I'll be a bit more frequent in my posts now. THE END

The Greats, Alexis' "birthday", and other events of June

June: so began my month of "relaxation". I started off having everyone come to Mikes house to play paintball, and then have a bonfire at my place. It was great to get most of my friends out and do something active together now that all the pressure is off. I've spent my time playing way too many video games, and sleeping far too late. I have managed to get some housework done however, and Poppy has enjoyed the company.
Today Ben and I did our history presentation on Catherine and Frederik the Great. It was our last presentation to give in highschool...ever.
We also pretended it was Alexis' birthday because she wont be here to have a sisterhood celebration on her real birthday. We had tons of fun taking pictures in Vickers Park. Coming up soon is graduation, as well as my trip to Toronto, and mom and dads anniversary party. It's going to get pretty busy, but it will be a lot of fun. Thats it, layta.
